TERMS AND CONDITIONS

All purchased parts will conform with the Sale & Supply of Goods Act 1994.

  • All purchased parts will include a minimum warranty of 30 days and only parts detailed on your invoice will be covered by the warranty.
If any part supplied by JPS Car Parts proves to be faulty during this period, it may be returned for an exchange.
If no exchange is available within 72 hours, a refund will be provided.

  • The warranty will only cover parts purchased from JPS Car Parts.
Costs incurred from labour or from a fault arising from the fitting of the purchased part are not covered by the warranty, it is the buyer’s responsibility to ensure that any purchased part(s) is correct prior to fitting.
The price of the purchased part will be the maximum amount eligible for a refund.

  • If any part supplied by JPS Car Parts has been tampered with in any way (e.g., taken apart, broken seal, etc.), the warranty will be void.

  • Any part which has been altered, modified or dismantled in anyway (except for routine service adjustment) without our permission will no longer be covered by the warranty.

  • Warranty on any “engine” or “complete engine” purchased via JPS Car Parts only covers the head, block and sump.
If ancillaries are required, customers must request this prior to purchase.
Otherwise, any ancillaries left on an engine are provided free of charge and are not covered by any warranty.

  • All engines purchased via JPS Car Parts must be fitted with a new timing belt/cam belt/chain and filled with new oil upon installation. Failure to do so will result in the warranty becoming void.

  • All gearboxes purchased via JPS Car Parts must be filled with new oil upon installation. Failure to do so will result in the warranty becoming void.

  • Under current selling regulations, a private consumer has a 14 day “cooling off” period in which they may return the goods for a refund.
However, delivery is a separate purchase to the goods which, once completed, is non-refundable.
All returned goods must be done so at the customers expense.

  • Any part(s) correctly supplied by JPS Car Parts and returned may be subject to a 20% handling charge.

  • When being delivered, goods should be inspected prior to signing for them to ensure that the goods have not been damaged during transit.
Goods which prove to be damaged must be refused for delivery and must not be signed for. The buyer must notify JPS Car Parts of the situation within one working day to ensure that, if necessary, a claim for damaged goods can be made against a courier company.
If the delivery driver does not allow time to inspect the goods, please sign the delivery note as “Damaged” to obtain them, but delete any wording in the signature box which state that the goods were ‘Received in good condition’.
JPS Car Parts will not be liable for the refund of any goods damaged in transit if they have been signed for as not damaged and in good condition.

  • By placing an order with JPS Car Parts, you agree to these terms and conditions. Ownership of all goods will remain with JPS Car Parts until full payment for the goods has been made.
